Training Period

The apprenticeship duration is:

12 Months

This is a training engagement under the Apprentices Act and not a permanent IOCL job.

  1. Successful NATS/NAPS registration
  2. Eligibility verification

  4. Preparation of merit list

Higher Qualification – Important Restriction

Do not assume that holding a higher professional qualification automatically improves eligibility. Candidates should verify this condition from the current advertisement before applying.

PwBD Eligibility

PwBD reservation is not applicable to every apprenticeship discipline.

The current vacancy information indicates that PwBD candidates are not eligible for discipline codes 101–111, covering Technician and Trade/ITI disciplines.

Eligible PwBD candidates may be considered for:

  • Graduate Apprentice
  • Data Entry Operator categories

subject to the exact disability category and eligibility conditions in the notification.

Does IOCL Apprentice Recruitment Guarantee a Permanent Job?

No.

An apprenticeship is a fixed-period training engagement.

Completion of the 12-month apprenticeship does not create an automatic right to permanent employment with IOCL.
