The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has declared the CSIR Assistant Section Officer Final Result 2026<\/mark><\/strong> for direct recruitment to 100 Assistant Section Officer (ASO) vacancies. The result was published on 3 November 2026 under Advertisement No. E-I\/RC\/2026\/2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Candidates who participated in this recruitment process can now check the final selection result through the official CSIR website. The recruitment was conducted for candidates who were non-recommended in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination 2024 (CSE-2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The selection process included application screening, a Computer Proficiency Test (CPT), document verification and preparation of the final selection list. The final recruitment was based on the candidates’ UPSC CSE-2024 Mains and Personality Test marks, subject to qualifying the mandatory Computer Proficiency Test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of 100 vacancies were advertised for Assistant Section Officer (General), Assistant Section Officer (Finance & Accounts), and Assistant Section Officer (Stores & Purchase).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
